Hwimungo infielder Yeom Seung-won (joined by Kium Heroes) will receive the Lee Young-min batting award in 2024.
The Korea Baseball Softball Association (KBO) announced the winners in each category for 2024. The award ceremony will be held at the general assembly of representatives scheduled to be held in January next year.
Lee Young-min's batting award will be given to players with the highest batting average among hitters with 60 at-bats or more in 15 games in the high school baseball weekend league and the national high school baseball tournament hosted by the Korea Baseball Softball Association.
Yeom Seung-won played in 20 games this year and posted 38 hits in 73 at-bats (0.521 batting average), 18 RBIs, and 1.301 on-base plus slugging percentage (OPS).

Joo Chang-hoon, the coach of Jeon High School, will receive the Kim Il-bae leadership award. Joo Chang-hoon led Jeon high school to three gold medals this year in the Cheongryonggi, Bonghwangdaegi National High School Baseball Competition, and the National Sports Competition.
